Goodguys 2023 Hall of Fame Road Tour – Day 4

Day four of the Hall of Fame Tour consisted of a 150-mile, scenic loop around Salt Lake City starting with a drive north on I80/I84 with Lewis Peak out our driver’s side window up to the city of Ogden for a visit at Ogden Chrome. The chrome plating process is amazing, and it was an eye opening experience to go behind the scenes and get a look at the art of metal prep, restoration and the plating process. It’s safe to say that everyone walked away with a new appreciation of the work it takes to produce a product like Ogden Chrome delivers.

A cruise south to Salt Lake City landed the tour at Kindig-It Design where lunch was graciously served as everyone got to check out the shop and ponder their favorite episode of Bitchin’ Rides. Some amazing cars were in process with a few familiar rides in the shop too. Dave and his crew also assisted in getting a couple tour vehicles back on the road to continue on the journey – these guys are as good as it gets!

As fun as it was hanging at Kindig-It, there was still one more stop in the area at Race Deck Garage Flooring. It’s safe to say that after seeing the quality and craftsmanship built into the flooring designs from Race Deck, that pretty much everyone was convinced that their garage floors were lacking but now they knew where to go get step up their shop!
