Friday First Look! Goodguys 7th Griot’s Garage North Carolina Nationals
Goodguys has rumbled back to Raleigh, North Carolina to enjoy some southeastern springtime fun at the 7th Griot’s Garage North Carolina Nationals! It’s our first visit east of the Mississippi this season and we’ve got a custom-colored, chrome-plated, well-polished weekend on tap at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds to get this region’s gearheads revved up and ready for the road!
The full-throttle weekend got an early start Thursday evening with a fun kickoff party and open house at Raleigh Speed Shop. With a food truck on hand, cool projects to check out inside, and a parking showcasing a rotating cast of fine rides, it made for a perfect evening of bench racing and catching up with old friends.
Friday dawned bright and sunny and a steady stream of rods, classics, customs, muscle cars, and more have rolled in and filled up the spacious fairgrounds facility. There are even more inside in the indoor car show. Beyond the cool cars, there are dozens of vendors showcasing parts and services, a fantastic swap meet, plus Goodguys CPP AutoCross
action on the track. And we’ve got a great lineup of other activities that are sure to keep the fun meter pegged all weekend, from Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, to a Burnout Competition, live music, and dozens of awards. There’s even a smashin’ Demolition Derby scheduled for Saturday night!
It’s shaping up to be a fantastic weekend filled with sunny skies, warm temperatures, cool cars, and all sorts of Goodguys Good Times. Come join us if you can, or watch for updates and highlights here and on Goodguys and Fuel Curve social media.
