Friday First Look! Goodguys 34th Griot’s Garage Pacific Northwest Nationals!

Goodguys is rockin’ Washington this weekend as we bring the 34th Griot’s Garage Pacific Northwest Nationals back to Puyallup! We’re revved up and ready for some laid-back, Northwest-style Good Times at one of the most-enjoyable and longest-running events on the Goodguys calendar!

Our friends in the Kings Men car club got us primed for the weekend with the traditional Thursday Poker Run around the Puyallup and Tacoma area. It was a fun and scenic day of driving as we made stops at the Washington State Soldiers Home, Walt Austin Racing, and the LeMay Collections museum at Marymount. We finished up at the Griot’s Garage Kickoff Party at the company’s flagship store in Tacoma, which is where the Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour participants joined us after a week traveling up the coast.

From there, we opened the gates to the Washington Fair Events Center this morning and have been treated to a steady stream of cool rides rolling through the grounds all day long. The variety, the quality, and the cool character of the cars and trucks never disappoints in this region, and we’re especially happy to see our friends from Canada able to join us again! And with the traditional Friday Night Drags happening later this evening, we’ll be having full-throttle fun from dawn to dark!

We’ve got a picture-perfect forecast on tap for the rest of the weekend, plus lots of fun and positive energy from all the participants we’ve encountered so far. Those sound like perfect ingredients for a record-breaking event, especially when you factor in happenings like a great Swap Meet, multiple Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, scores of vendors, an Indoor Car Show, nonstop cruising, and more. Get yourself to Puyallup to join in the party if you’re anywhere nearby this weekend. If not, stay tuned for highlights here!
