Friday First Look! Goodguys 24th Grundy Insurance Colorado Nationals Presented by Griot’s Garage
Goodguys has rolled into the Rocky Mountain region to enjoy some high-altitude fun at the 24th Grundy Insurance Colorado Nationals presented by Griot’s Garage! This is our annual foray into the front range of the Rockies, and it’s a trip we look forward to all year long. With a great facility like The Ranch Events Complex in Loveland and a wide range of cool activities and sights on tap, we’re ready for a weekend full of Goodguys Good Times, Colorado style!
An extended hot weather streak snapped today, bringing in cooler temperatures that were welcomed by many in this area. The skies might have been a little gray, but the rides that streamed into the facility today provided a rainbow of color to enjoy. The beautiful grassy facility continued filling up throughout the day as hot rods, customs, trucks, muscle cars, classics, and other specialty vehicles from throughout the region cruised in for this long-running late-summer celebration.
As usual, we’ve got a full weekend of activities on tap, from hard-charging Goodguys CPP AutoCross Series racing, to an expansive swap meet, Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, a Burnout Contest, and even a classic car auction produced by Specialty Auto Auctions. Our friend Eric Peratt is hosting the annual TGIF party this evening at Pinkee’s Rod Shop and Mash Lab Brewing, and Dave Kindig is here talking to fans and filming some clips for his show, Bitchin’ Rides!
The fun is just getting started here in Loveland! If you’re anywhere in the vicinity, we invite you to come join us this weekend for some colorful times in Colorado! And if you can’t make it, stay tuned to FuelCurve and Goodguys social media for more highlights from this high-altitude hot rod celebration!
