Friday First Look! Goodguys 9th Griot’s Garage North Carolina Nationals Presented by Tremec
Goodguys is goin’ to Carolina this weekend as we reunite in Raleigh for the 9th Griot’s Garage North Carolina Nationals presented by Tremec! It’s time for some springtime cruisin’ in the Eastern US and we’re bringing the hot rod party to the North Carolina State Fairgrounds as we gather thousands of cool cars and trucks for three days of chrome-plated, V8-powered fun!
It’s a beautiful time of year to be in this region of the country and we’ve had a great start to the weekend over the past 24-plus hours. Our friends at Raleigh Speed Shop helped get our engines revved up with a laid-back kickoff party Thursday evening at their shop filled with cool projects, great cars, and delicious food. The good-time vibes carried over to Friday morning as a steady stream of rides cruised into the fairgrounds and enthusiasts wiped down and shined up their cars and trucks. By mid-day the facility was really filling in, giving us a great taste of what to expect on Saturday.
As always, we’ve got a full schedule on tap for the weekend. In addition to thousands of cool cars both outside and in, we’ve got dozens of vendors showcasing their latest parts, a sizeable swap meet, a TGIF party at L&S Customs, and live music throughout the weekend. We already had one hit of Nitro Thunderfest today, with more to come tomorrow, plus our Saturday Specialty Parking areas, a smokin’ Burnout Competition, and a Saturday night Demolition Derby presented by LMC Truck!
Simply put, it will be a weekend full of Goodguys Good Times here in Raleigh, so cruise on out and join us if you’re anywhere close. You don’t want to miss this one!
