Friday First Look! Goodguys 22nd Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals

Here we go, SoCal! It’s time to get the spring cruising season up to speed at the Goodguys 22nd Meguiar’s Del Mar Nationals! We know it’s been a long – and wet – winter, but the sun came out just in time to shine down on Del Mar Fairgrounds and help us deliver a weekend full of hot rod fun and Good Times!

This is the fourth weekend in a row for the Goodguys spring swing and we’re ready to enjoy the sun, the sand, and the surf here in the San Diego area as we celebrate hot rodding and automotive culture the best way we know how. A fantastic selection of rides already rolled through the gates today, and there are hundreds more inside the buildings as part of the Indoor Car Show and the PPG Lowrider palace. Everywhere you look there’s eye candy!

As always, we’ve got a jam-packed weekend on tap, with competition for the Meguiar’s Street Rod D’Elegance award, plus dozens of other awards and picks to be distributed during the event. The Goodguys CPP AutoCross Series is already off to a hard-charging start, and we’ve got Goodguys favorites like the Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, Burnout Competition, Saturday Specialty Parking Areas, and more. Throw in a swap meet, dozens of vendors, and nonstop cruising on the main drag, and you’ve got the makings for a cool hot rod weekend on the coast.

We’re not foolin’ – if you’re anywhere near SoCal on this first weekend of April, you owe it to yourself to join us for some Goodguys Good Times in Del Mar. Come on down if you can, and stay tuned to the Goodguys social media channels for more updates throughout the weekend.
