Direct-Fit GM G-Body Gauge Package from Classic Instruments
GM G-Body fans will be happy to see the latest direct-fit gauge package from Classic Instruments! This new gauge assembly is an advanced, all-electric cluster designed to fit ’78-’88 G-bodies.
The assembly consists of a speedometer, tachometer, clock, and fuel, oil, temp, and volt gauges in an OE style; available with or without overdrive. Hybrid LED lighting offers the feel of the original perimeter lighting and the visual benefits of back-lighting to produce full illumination and clear nighttime readability. Turn signals and high beam indicators are in the original locations and the kit includes new check engine and high beam sockets with LED bulbs.
The kit also includes: a wiring harness, push-button speedometer calibration for ease of setup, a new acrylic lens, and built-in ECM signal filter switch. Classic Instruments’ exclusive Zeus Speedometer Technology saves space and time as the cluster requires no external control boxes and works directly with ECM or VSS signals. The fuel gauge is also programmable for many ohm ranges with a selector switch on the back of the cluster, so it will work with stock style sending units or any Classic Instruments fuel sending unit. Classic also supplies the other sending units required.
The gauge package installs using your existing diffuser and a complete list of fitment includes: ’82–’87 Chevrolet El Camino, ’82–’83 Malibu, ’82–’88 and ’78-’81 Monte Carlo and ’82–’87 GMC Caballero.
