Win Prizes, Shop Parts In Columbus This Weekend
The 25th Summit Racing Nationals presented by PPG, known by Goodguys members as “The Big One”, is the absolutely the place to see what’s new and happening in the world of hot rods, muscle cars and classic trucks. Shopping for new parts is one of the best reasons to attend but for participants, there’s also the chance to win some great prizes at the Choice Product Giveaway booth. This booth, located in the Bricker Building, is hosted by a group of volunteer Rodders Reps where they draw participant’s entry numbers to score great prizes such as a $250 gift card from Summit Racing, Ididit, or Painless Performance! Prizes are drawn and posted in the booth at 10am, noon and 2pm on Friday and Saturday, followed by 10am and 1pm on Sunday.
After checking in with the Choice Product Giveaway booth, be sure to stroll through the rows and rows of vendors and manufacturers at the show. The Bricker Building will be packed plus there are many more companies with outside displays along the cruise route and in the big lot out front of the fairgrounds. In fact, you could build a couple different vehicles just by gathering new parts from companies on display!
Speaking of new products, the Summit Racing Nationals is the only Goodguys event that hosts a New Product Awards area. Top companies work all year on new products to launch at this venue and they’ll all on display in the front area of the Bricker Building.
After viewing the shiny, new products and parts, head over to the swap meet to wade through vintage used parts. You’ll find scores of intake manifolds, steering wheels, doors, carbs and more spread out amongst automobilia collectibles and more. Follow the swap meet up with a stroll through the Cars 4-Sale Corral to find a new ride or maybe just for a little research on what prices are being asked for classic cars and trucks. Whether you’re looking for a numbers-matching distributor or a late ‘80s G-body to cruise, Columbus is the place to score.
