Deals in Des Moines – Parts and Prizes at the 33rd Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals
The Goodguys 33rd Speedway Motors Heartland Nationals is a great place to meet up with thousands of other hot rod enthusiasts, not to mention a great fireworks display on Saturday. With the action on the autocross track, Nitro Thunderfest, the pie baking and watermelon eating contests, there’s plenty of activities to check out, but the show also provides one of the best places to find performance and restoration parts!
Top manufacturers send their best techs and parts out to Des Moines to showcase and on the big midway giving you a rare opportunity to ask for recommendations for your specific vehicle or project. Builders are also on hand with their latest projects and if you’re looking for a rare used part there’s a solid chance of searching it out in the swap meet – or perhaps find a new project in the Cars 4-Sale corral.
For registered participants, be sure to check in at the Choice Product Giveaway booth a couple time a day to see if you’ve won anything. The friendly volunteer Rodders Reps draw tickets for great prizes from over 30 hot rod companies such as a $250 Gift Card from Speedway Motors or Borgeson Universal or maybe a new battery from TurboStart! Prizes are drawn and posted in the booth at 10am, noon and 2pm on Friday and Saturday followed by 10am and 1:00pm on Sunday.
