All engines, especially fuel injected engines, require a consistent fuel pressure to operate at their peak performance. One of the most important parts of any fuel system are fuel filters, which not only must effectively catch and stop any debris from getting to the carb or injectors, but it must not impede the fuel pressure of the system. Making sure that your fuel filter is effective at trapping debris and goo is one thing, but it also must not impede with the fuel pressure. Russell’s Pro-Filter II Fuel Filters are engineered for optimum filtration without the fuel pressure loss that occurs in other designs. The Pro-Filters feature a billet aluminum housing and a choice of replaceable 10-, 40-, and 100-micron stainless steel mesh filter element and are compatible with gasoline and ethanol-blend fuels including E85.
Summit Racing offers two versions of the Russell Pro-Filter II; the 75-series at 6.25-inches long and the 76-Series at 9.75-inche. Both are available with -06, -08 or -10 AN inlets and outlets.
