Speedtech Performance Debuts Expansion of Mopar Product Line to Include B Body
Speedtech Performance is proud to announce chassis and suspension products for Mopar B Body are now available. The ExtReme product line has been expanded to Road Runner for model years 1968 to 1970 and are priced comparably with the ExtReme Product Line already in market.
The ExtReme Front Sub Frame (EFSF) delivers comfort and control to the driver through a complete change of the front suspension. The system eliminates the original torsion bars and brings in tubular upper and lower control arms with coil over shocks. The EFSF provides effectively zero bump steer, fully adjustable alignment angles and a sealed maintenance free wheel bearing. The system comes with Speedtech Performance’s industry exclusive spindle forged from 7075 Aircraft aluminum and a robust dual power steering. No body styling changes will be needed for fitting a 325/30/19 tire up front and a full steering angle of 30 degrees is retained. The EFSF is a removable bolt in component of the chassis (after the unibody is updated to accept it). This will simplify installation of the engine and transmission as one unit during assembly. The Mopar B Body EFSF offers extremely engineered comfort and performance otherwise not available in the market.
For the first time the rear of Mopar B Body can now receive Speedtech Performance’s exclusive proven rear suspension system. This system eliminates the original rear suspension configuration replacing it with the Speedtech Performance Torque Arm Rear Suspension (TARS). This is an essential product from Speedtech Performance that eliminates unwanted movement of the rear axle such as pinion angle. It provides bindless motion with no rubber bushings allowing it to move freely with the help of the Speedtech Performance proprietary Articulinks. Some of the greatest benefits of the TARS include maintaining constant pinion angle and transferring the load forces from acceleration and braking into the center of the car successfully managing movement on the pitch axis. The Articulinks and Delrin torque arm bushings optimize performance from a new straight axle housing enhancing comfort and performance. Fitting a 335/30/20 in the rear will require mini-tubs and no exterior styling changes will be needed.
Road Runners outfitted with Speedtech Performance’s ExtReme products are the ultimate expression of a muscle car daily driver, classic styling with modern driving comfort, and performance. Owners can expect a greater level of comfort for long distance drives and accurate feed back to the driver through the chassis and steering wheel.
Speedtech Performance has a strong passion for classic muscle cars. These cars had impressive horsepower but were not celebrated for their cornering and braking performance. For more information contact Speedtech Performance today.
