Peaks, Parks & Plains – A Bonus Gallery of the 2018 Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour

From the highest mountain peaks, to the wide-open plains, to the sunken city of Subtropolis, the 2018 Goodguys Hall of Fame Road Tour traversed nearly 3,000 miles and covered a broad spectrum of American geography, lasting nine full days from September 20-28. It was the most epic organized hot rod road tour Goodguys has ever staged and wound its way through some of the most spectacular and scenic American landscapes we’ve encountered.

The March issue of the Goodguys Gazette chronicles the tour, showcasing some of the spectacular scenes and fun times experienced by our group of travelers as they took a scenic, circuitous route from Salt Lake City to Fort Worth, Texas. The path took our caravan north and east through Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone National Park, and the Black Hills of South Dakota before heading across the plains and south into Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. We then traversed the hills of southern Missouri and Arkansas before winding our way through part of Oklahoma and Texas.

Naturally, there was only so much coverage we could squeeze into print, so we’ve compiled a bonus image gallery here – plus five fantastic videos produced from footage shot along the road. The parade of vintage iron was certainly a sight to see as it wound its way through portions of the USA, and those who joined us made memories to last a lifetime. We hope you’ll take a little time to check it all out.

If this coverage whets your appetite for hitting the open road, be sure to check out details on the 2019 Hall of Fame Road Tour, which will take two routes to Texas. Registration starts soon!
