Goodguys Top 12, Top 12, terrific 12, Top 12 Award, of the year

A Closer Look at Goodguys 2019 Regional Top 12 Finalists

Roll out the red carpet, because Goodguys will announce winners for five of its Top 12 “Of the Year” Awards later this week! Final vote tallies and selections are being made for the 2019 Vintage Air Custom Rod of the Year, Muscle Car of the Year, Griot’s Garage Muscle Machine of the Year, Scott’s Hotrods Truck of the Year Early, and LMC Truck of the Year Late. We’ll reveal the winners this Friday, October 4 right here on FuelCurve.com!

The Goodguys Top 12 awards are designed to recognize vehicles and builders that rise to the top of our hobby, pushing the boundaries of style, quality, and execution to new heights. Every year these awards crown the cream of the crop in 12 distinct categories and build styles of vintage vehicles. Each award has its own criteria, but all are aimed at honoring premier examples of each genre, while also recognizing core build essentials like fit, form, function, beauty and design.

Seven of these Top 12 awards are event specific, with finalists and a winner identified and crowned at one event. Five others are selected by identifying finalists at different events during a yearlong process that started at the 2018 Kentucky Nationals and wrapped up just this past weekend at the Summit Racing Lone Star Nationals. Below are the contenders in each category – take a look and see which ones you think deserve to go home with top honors.

Goodguys Top 12, Top 12, terrific 12, Top 12 Award, of the year

Watch for individual announcements for the winner in each category throughout the day this Friday starting at 9am PST. And start making your plans to attend the season-ending Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale, Arizona, where all of our Top 12 winners will be on display and showcasing the best of 2019!
