Friday First Look! Goodguys 27th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals

This is it, folks! We’re sending off the 2024 season in fine style this weekend in Scottsdale with three days of sun, fun, and Goodguys Good Times at the 27th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals! We can’t think of a better way to spend our pre-Thanksgiving weekend than by enjoying some four-wheeled fellowship with a few thousand of our favorite car friends at the beautiful WestWorld of Scottsdale.

We kicked things off on Thursday with our traditional Hot Rod Cruise around the greater Phoenix area. Scores of cool vintage rides participated in a caravan that took us to some fun stops around the valley, including Vintage Iron and Restoration, RamJet’s Speed Shop, All American Billet, and a final stop at Speedway Motors’ large Arizona distribution center and parts store in Tolleson.

By Friday morning we were revved up and ready to throw open the gates at WestWorld and flood the facility with fine vintage iron. The Goodguys 2024 BASF Top 12 winners are taking center stage outside the main vendor tent and are a major highlight for the weekend. This dynamic dozen rides are the cream of the crop for our industry this year, and you’d be hard pressed to find a more impressive lineup.

We’ve got an almost endless supply of other attractions and activities planned for the weekend ahead, including a massive swap meet and Cars 4 Sale Corral, dozens of vendors showcasing their parts and services, some intense CPP AutoCross Series action to finish out the season, ground-shaking Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, live music, great food, and much more. Make your way to Scottsdale if you can, or stay tuned to Goodguys social media and FuelCurve.com for more highlights from this spectacular sendoff to the 2024 Goodguys season!
