We’re closing in on Labor Day weekend, which means that it’s time for the Goodguys Rod & Custom 37th West Coast Nationals! This huge event brings out the best of the best hot rods, classic trucks, customs and more for a weekend of serious car-family fun. Not only are there thousands of cars and trucks to check out, but this is also the place to be for vintage car parts and projects! The West Coast Nationals, which takes place August 23 – 25 at the Alameda State Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, is the oldest event on the Goodguys schedule and is based right where the Rod and Custom Association started. The show is packed with top names in restoration and performance manufacturers such as All American Billet, Cragar Wheels, FiTech EFI and many more. If you have questions about a part for your project car or hot rod, the West Coast Nats is where to go for answers – straight from the source.
For anyone that registers a vehicle in the show, make sure to check in at the Choice Product Giveaway booth each day of the event to see if you’ve won a prize! The hard-working volunteer Rodders Reps draw tickets for great prizes from over 30 hot rod companies including $250 gift certificates from Summit Racing, Old Air Products and Painless Wiring! Prizes are drawn and posted in the booth at 10am, noon and 2pm on Friday and Saturday followed by 10am and 1:00pm on Sunday.
