Weekend Plans? Get to the Goodguys Autumn Get-Together!
The 29th Goodguys Autumn Get-Together presented by Fuel Curve and CrazyBulk is set to thunder into the Pleasanton Fairgrounds this weekend Nov 10 & 11 bringing over 2,500 American powered hot rods, vendors, racers and revelers to the historic facility. Goodguys first staged the All American Get-Together here in 1983 some 35 years ago!
Per tradition, the 29th Goodguys Autumn Get-Together will honor our nation’s Veterans and active military members. All Vets and active duty military will be admitted FREE with a valid military I.D. The entire weekend with have a patriotic presence with Saturday’s popular “Vettes for Vets” parade taking place at 12:30. After a special ceremony with the local Color Guard presenting our nation’s flag, all Veteran’s who would like to ride will be placed into both modern and vintage Corvettes for a fantastic, flag-flying parade lap around the fairgrounds! We dare you not to tear up!
You’ll also hear plenty of V8 thunder from the Goodguys AutoCross track. The “Fall Shootout” will be the highlight of the weekend featuring a single car elimination bracket of the event’s fastest 16 cars. The AutoCross will take place throughout the weekend and all are welcome to compete provided your vehicle passes the tech inspection. Click here for rules and regulations. Like trucks? So do we! Like custom bicycles? Us too! A spectacular indoor truck exhibit will fill the Young California Building with hot haulers while the Goodguys Cruiser-Rama presented by Behind Bars, Inc will fill Building C with tricked out two-wheelers.
While those headline attractions will keep everyone busy, the event is stacked with other activities. A massive swap meet & cars 4 sale corral will offer smokin’ season-ending deals on used/collectible auto parts while the car corral could hold your future classic! Bring some “straight cash homey!”
Plus live entertainment with “Luna Fish”, a vintage camper display, burnout contest, FREE kids zone with games, arts & crafts and more will keep the lil’ rodders busy as bees.
