The 6L80 StreetFighter has been engineered for high-performance applications up to 750 horsepower and is designed to deliver the strength, consistency, and reliability demanded by serious street and performance builds. This new transmission incorporates premium components and precision assembly to handle elevated power levels with confidence.
At the core of the 6L80-E StreetFighter Transmission are high-performance clutches and steels specifically selected to withstand the stress of higher-horsepower applications. A new billet pump rotor assembly, paired with a precisely machined pump and updated sprag assemblies, provides more holding power — ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions. Additionally, the transmission features new electronic components, providing improved control and responsiveness.
Every TCI 6L80-E StreetFighter Transmission is dyno-tested before leaving the factory to verify pressure and shift characteristics. Each unit ships with its individual dyno test results, providing builders and enthusiasts with assurance that their transmission has been thoroughly validated for both performance and durability.
