Prize Fighter – The September Issue of the Goodguys Gazette is Here!
The September 2021 issue of the Goodguys Gazette monthly publication is hitting mailboxes this week, and newsstands soon! This latest issue is loaded with 175 pages featuring coverage from two Goodguys events – the 15th BASF Nashville Nationals and the 1st Meguiar’s All-Star Get-Together – as well as Part 5 of the Goodguys 2021/22 Grand Prize Giveaway Squarebody truck that Goolsby Customs has been building while documenting the process.
It’s no secret that the 1988-1998 C/K1500 (aka OBS) trucks are booming in popularity right now, and Goodguys isn’t ignoring their rise. The September issue features a parts guide specifically focusing on these GM pickups. Everything is included from replacement body panels and suspension kits to engine and interior upgrades. There’s also a feature on one of these OBS examples built by Hill’s Hot Rods as their “O.J.” 454SS pickup was selected as the Fuel Curve Pick from the All-Star Get-Together event.
Our monthly columnists dive into topics ranging from road trips, reflecting on legendary hot rodder Pete Chapouris, offering metalworking and paint tips, and capping it off with a 5 Minutes With interview with Emily Reeves of Flying Sparks Garage.
Those are just some highlights. In this issue there are 18 vehicle features, and we’re positive one of them will catch your attention. From early 30’s hot rods, to muscle cars, customs, and classic trucks – we’re talking about everything in this issue. Catch up on the latest Goodguys CPP AutoCross series happenings, relive event happenings, and see what some of the industry’s leading manufactures have been creating.
