Goodguys kicked off their third event of 2026 and their first west coast event of the season with their 42nd All American Get-Together – their oldest running event! It was an absolutely textbook northern California day that brought thousands of hot rodding enthusiasts together at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton for a day surrounded by the coolest cars, great people, and seriously good times.Saturday Scenes! No matter what kind of car or truck you like, the Goodguys All American Get-Together delivers something for everyone. This event welcomes all years and makes of American made or powered rides so you get to see a chopped Model A sitting across from a new GT350 Mustang or mid-engine Corvette. Northern California also brings plenty of customs, lowriders and tail draggers and the crew at Deadend Worldwide put together a building filled with some of their favorite cars covered with custom paints and incredible details.

The lush green fairgrounds was bursting with enthusiasts taking in the beautiful spring day and great rides. The swap meet was full of vintage tin and engine parts while the Cars 4-Sale Corral was teeming with classic rides for the buying. There are plenty of vendors to visit and see the latest new products including Ridetech, Halo Lifts, Dublin Chevrolet, Amsoil, and Grundy Insurance to name a few. There were also several top builders with their latest rides on display including Roseville Rod and Custom, Gary’s Rods and Restorations, South City Rod and Custom and others.

The squeal of tires and revving engines echoed from the Goodguys Autocross area as racers made laps in hopes of qualifying for Sunday’s AutoMeter Products Autocross Shootout. There was a huge tire melting burnout competition, monster truck rides, and the roar of the Summit Racing Nitro Thunderfest exhibition vintage dragsters shaking the Earth.

It was a spectacular day and the great news is that we get to do it all again tomorrow! Sunday will pack the grounds again, with Goodguys handing out over 50 different specialty awards during the parade of winners starting at 3:33! Can’t wait for Sunday!
