Ridetech 9-Inch Ford Rear Axle Housings for ’69-’81 Camaro/Firebird & ’68-’74 Nova

Installing a current design Ridetech bolt-in 4-Link to your ’67-’81 Camaro/Firebird or ’68-’74 Nova just got easier thank to their new 9-Inch Ford Rear Axle Housings. These axle housings are the ideal combination for building your pro-touring classic as are already fitted with their 4-link and sway bar brackets welded to the housing.

Housing: The 9-inch Ford housings are a great foundation for putting torque to the pavement. The housings feature a webbed center section with internal gussets with 1/4″ wall 3” diameter tubes and billet steel flanges featuring the new style big bearing/Torino). The pinion is offset ½” and the axle flange is offset 2.5”. Stock and narrowed axle widths are also available to satisfy mini-tubbed applications.

These housings include both a drain plug and jack pad and are supplied with Grade 8 T-bolt hardware for sufficient strength where you need it most. Third member studs are pre-installed and ready to accept your third member. Ridetech is offering their housings in both black power-coat and raw for vehicles that are in varied stages of completion to fit customer needs.

Axles: The included 31-spline axles are heat treated from 1541H Alloy and feature 5” x 4 ¾” bolt pattern with grade-8 ½” x 2” wheel studs. Timken SET20 bearings are pressed onto the axles which also include the bearing retaining plates.
