Classic Instruments Releases a New Retro-Fit Service Package for 1963-1967 Corvettes
Second generation Corvette fans will be happy to learn that Classic Instruments is making it easier, and quicker, to have their gauges rebuilt and updated to modern standards with their new Retro-Fit Service Package for 1963-1967 Corvettes. The package’s base price includes a stock styled gauge using the customer’s existing parts, including maintaining the unique cone-shaped dial faces for the ’63–’64 models.
The Retro-Fit Servic Package has been designed to utilize Classic Instruments’ custom built ZST Speedometer circuit board which plugs directly into any engine, transmission, or ECU and can even plug directly into Sky Drive for GPS as well. The tachometer and other instruments get Classic Instruments’ latest technology as well, including their in-house built air-core movements and all the necessary sending units.
What sets this package apart from the company’s traditional Corvette direct-fits and complete custom offerings, is the fact that its price-point and turnaround time land right in between the two. Customers will enjoy the perfect balance of affordability, options, and turnaround time; as soon as they receive all the parts and order form, Classic can have the updated gauges returned in just four weeks. For additional fees, customers can choose to add a clock to their project as well as a GPS Speed sensor, Holley Easy Level Sender, Fuel-Link Fuel Interface or Zeus-Link Gauge Interface Module.
Additionally, Classic Instruments maintains the ability to build a completely one-off Corvette cluster or simply change pointer colors, and every level of customization in between. They must receive all the customer’s existing parts in order to proceed with a project and for any custom changes or inquiries it is best to give them a call as pricing varies depending on the project.
Classic Instruments, based in Boyne City, Michigan, has been handcrafting gauges since 1977. For more details about their Retro-Fit Service Package for 1963-1967 Corvettes, contact Classic Instruments.
