Parts and Prizes at the Goodguys 28th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals – The Season Finale!
Goodguys is set to wrap up their 42nd season of cool cars, cool people, and good times this weekend (Nov. 21-23) with their 28th Speedway Motors Southwest Nationals, a show you don’t want to miss! Not only will you get to see all of their “Top 12 of the Year” presented by BASF winners, you’ll get to check out the latest hot rod parts and products, scour a huge swap meet for vintage parts, and maybe even win cool prizes!
The Southwest Nationals hosts a giant swap meet that stretches beyond the entire length of the WestWorld of Scottsdale polo field and is packed with rust-free sheet metal, vintage engine nd driveline parts, and plenty of automobilia collectibles thrown into the mix. This event is also a perfect place to search out a new project to tackle this winter and there are always plenty of cars to choose from in the Cars 4-Sale Corral.
For anyone that registers a vehicle, remember to check in every day at the Choice Product Giveaway booth. The friendly volunteer Goodguys Rodders Reps will draw tickets for sweet prizes from over 30 hot rod companies! Winners will be posted at 10am, noon and 2pm on Friday and Saturday followed by 10am and 1:00pm on Sunday. There are some great prizes such as a free GM truck grille from Golden Star Classic Auto Parts, a unique tool from Notchead, a battery from TurboStart, $250 certificates from Speedway Motors and many more.
If you are looking for expert advice on what components will work best on your project, there will be rows of top manufacturers on display to answer any and all questions you may have ranging from wheel offset to cam specs, fuel injection systems, paint detailing and more. Not only are the parts and cars available at the Southwest Nationals second to none, but since this is the last Goodguys show of the year, there will also be some very exciting racing on the autocross track with the Duel in the Desert and King of the Desert season finale!
