Northeast Treat! Get Ready for the Grundy Insurance Great American Nationals!
Get ready Northeast rodders – Goodguys is coming your way with the all-new Grundy Insurance Great American Nationals taking over the York Expo Center in York, Pennsylvania this weekend – August 16-18! We’ve got big expectations for this event and the big-time pre-registration numbers support our enthusiasm. This is shaping up to be an incredible inaugural happening!
This is the first time Goodguys has visited the historic York Expo Center and you can bet we’ve got a power-packed weekend on tap. We’ll get things started with an open house and Kickoff Party at Winters Performance Products on Thursday, and then swing the gates wide open Friday morning for three days of Goodguys fun!
We’re expecting more than 2,000 hot rods, cool customs, vintage trucks, muscle cars, classics, and other cool rides throughout the weekend, with a huge indoor display of cars to complement the thousands outside. Beyond the fine rides, we’ll send an echo through the hills with a triple shot of our Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions – one on Friday and two on Saturday – plus a smokin’ Burnout Competition at 12:30 on Saturday. Add in Goodguys AutoCross action all weekend and there will be plenty of kinetic energy throughout the grounds!
Need parts? The huge vendor midway will have plenty of shopping options, and there will be bargains galore in the swap meet and car corral. The Goodgals Gallery will add to the variety with a selection of crafts, clothing, and other fun stuff. Speaking of fun, the Kids Zone will have games and crafts, and we’ll also have a great display of model cars and pedal cars. Kids can even build their own models during the Make N Take Saturday at 1pm or Sunday at 11am! Add in some live music, and we’re going to have a rockin’ time!
We’ll bring things to an exciting finale by welcoming all American-made and domestic-powered cars for the Spectre Performance All American Sunday. The winner’s circle will be chock full of some of the finest rides from the weekend – including a Builder’s Choice Top 10 selected by Mark Giambalvo from Creative Rod & Kustom – and they’ll all parade through the awards program at 2:22. Who will be selected as finalists for Muscle Car of the Year, Griot’s Garage Muscle Machine of the Year and LMC Truck of the Year Late? Be there and find out!
