Goodguys adds the Hot Rod Hangout Saturday Special Parking Area for Pre-49 Rods at National Events
Hot rod owners will be excited to see Goodguys latest addition to their Saturday Specialty Parking Areas – the Hot Rod Hangout! This special parking area is reserved for hot rod cars and trucks manufactured prior to 1949 as an optional parking area for hot rods!
Goodguys popular Specialty Parking Areas take place on Saturdays at National events (not at Get-Togethers). Not only do you get a special dash plaque and decal, but you’ll also be parked with other similar vehicles and surrounded by like-minded enthusiasts to meet and discuss your favorite style car or truck. Special parking areas may vary depending on the event but a few examples include: Camaro Corral, Trick Trucks, Tri-Five Chevys, Mighty Muscle Cars and now, the Hot Rod Hangout area.
Other exciting news for the Hot Rod Hangout special parking area is that Goodguys is bringing back their Real Hot Rod Dropped Axle Award! This unique award, CNC machined by Goodguys President Marc Meadors out of billet aluminum, will be awarded to a lucky hot rodder at each National event. Each car that chooses to park in the Hot Rod Hangout will receive a special info card to fill out, dash plaque and unique window decal.
