Friday First Look! Goodguys 36th Griot’s Garage Pacific Northwest Nationals Presented By Wicked Fabrication
What’s up, Washington! It’s the final weekend of July, and we all know what that means. It’s high time for some summer fun, Goodguys style! We’ve returned to Puyallup for one of our favorite events on the calendar – the 36th Griot’s Garage Pacific Northwest Nationals presented by Wicked Fabrication.
This is prime cruising season in the Pacific Northwest, and we reinforced that idea with one of our favorite traditions on Thursday – a Poker Run coordinated by our friends with the King’s Men Car Club. More than 120 vehicles joined the cruisin’ fun, which took us to the Washington State Soldiers Home, McMillin Farm and Brewhouse, Chris Holstrom Concepts, and Griot’s Garage for our annual Pacific Northwest Nationals Kickoff Party.
Participants were well primed for some Pacific Northwest sun and fun by the time this morning rolled around, and we saw a steady stream of cars and trucks cruising into the Washington State Fair Events Center all day long. It was great to see so many fine rides getting shined up, old friends catching up, and enthusiasts of all ages enjoying the sights, sounds, and cruising around the grounds. We’re capping the day off with our annual Friday Night Drags at Pacific Raceways, and we’ll have highlights from those in our Weekend Rewind on Sunday.
As you’ve come to expect from Goodguys, we’ve got a full dose of fun happenings on the schedule all weekend long, from a sizeable swap meet, to a host of great vendors, yummy fair food, Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, an Indoor Car Show, Pinstripers Brush Bash, live entertainment, and more. People here know that there’s no party like a Pacific Northwest party, and they’re ready to prove it again this year. Come on down and join us if you can!
