Friday First Look! Goodguys 16th FiTech Fuel Injection Spring Nationals Presented by Grundy Insurance
It’s spring training time in Arizona, and you know what that means for hot rodders. It means it’s time to wipe the dust off that special ride, put some fresh fuel in the tank, and cruise over to WestWorld of Scottsdale for the Goodguys 16th FiTech Fuel Injection Spring Nationals presented by Grundy Insurance! That’s right, folks, we’re firing up the springtime cruising season here in the Southwest and delivering two days of Cool Cars, Cool People, and Good Times!
Arizona has greeted us with sunny skies and warm weather, and we made the most of both on Thursday with a pre-event Hot Rod Cruise around the Phoenix area. We hit some new stops on the southeast part of the metro area this year and visited Arizona High Test Hot Rods, Driven Speed Shop, Fat Fender Garage, and Big 10 Garage. It was a great day to check out some great shops!
Friday morning dawned clear and bright as a steady stream of hot rods, cool customs, classic cars, vintage trucks, and more rolled through the WestWorld gates. By mid-morning we were rockin’ and rolling with thousands of cars to check out, action on the AutoCross course, deals happening in the swap meet, and a full slate of vendors offering great parts and services. There was also a Careers in Hot Rodding presentation for area high school kids, and we even had a Jet Funny Car exhibition during the lunch hour!
The fueled fun will continue for one more day here in Scottsdale as we deliver a new two-day format to this springtime spectacular. Saturday is sure to be off the charts with even more great cars, our Saturday Specialty Parking Areas, Summit Racing Nitro Thunderfest exhibitions, live music, great food, and dozens of awards being selected and delivered at the late-afternoon awards ceremony. It’s going to be a day of Goodguys Good Times you won’t want to miss, so get yourself here to join in the fun!
