The latest edition to their forced induction product offerings is the launch of their new Victor family of superchargers – the Victor LSXR. Developed for enthusiasts seeking race-inspired performance with real-world flexibility, the Victor lineup represents the next evolution of high-horsepower forced induction.
In back-to-back dyno tests, the Victor LSXR proved its capability and versatility by dialing up boost from 650 horsepower to over 1,306 horsepower—and back again—simply by adjusting the advanced Electronic Boost Control Valve (EBCV) parameters through Edelbrock’s Smart Boost App. This level of control enables drivers to fine-tune their performance to meet their specific needs.
Designed specifically for LS3-swapped vehicles, the LSXR is a Stage 3 universal kit that embodies the raw power potential of the Victor product family while eliminating unnecessary components often found in vehicle-specific kits. It delivers both performance and presence, with an aggressive design and stealthy black powder-coat finish.
Engineered for extreme-horsepower applications, the Victor LSXR supercharger features a massive 120mm inlet, three-core dual-pass intercooling to maintain stable intake air temperatures under maximum boost, and a robust, aerospace-grade coupler with a 300M input shaft to withstand the harshest high-speed, high-boost environments. Provisions for dual injectors per cylinder further expand the tuning potential, while the Smart Boost technology enables on-the-fly control.
The new Smart Boost app offers advanced control and monitoring features, including programmable boost limits for “valet mode” and time-based boost ramping to manage traction in challenging conditions. A built-in “scramble” function allows drivers to instantly bump up programmed boost with the touch of a steering wheel–mounted button (button not included). Users can also monitor boost, engine rpm, manifold air temperature, and throttle position live on their device, while recording all available data for playback and analysis.
While the Victor LSXR is not vehicle-specific, Edelbrock provides fitment notes and guidelines for several popular LS3-swapped platforms to ensure proper motor mount placement and clearance at both the firewall and the hood.
