Doug Adamy Wins Cruisin’ To Miami Contest!

Congratulations to Doug Adamy, of Columbus, Nebraska, who was voted in as the Goodguys Cruisin’ To Miami contest winner brought to you by Nationwide! Next stop, Miami!

As our Grand Prize winner, Doug will receive an ultimate fan experience for two people at the final Cup Race of 2019 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, FL the weekend of November 15-17, 2019. He’ll get airfare and hotel accommodations, ground transportation to and from the track, weekend HOT passes, access to the Nationwide Pit Road Cabana, a Goodguys/Nationwide Insurance prize package and more! He’ll also get a meet-and-greet with the driver of the No. 88 car, Alex Bowman, and stock car legend and Nationwide Insurance Member, Dale Earnhardt Jr.! How cool is that?

Joining Doug in Miami will be his wife Abby who was the one that convinced Doug to submit his photo for this contest. Doug and Abby married in 2001 and have been hot rodding ever since. By day Doug is a body shop tech and manager of thier body shop, but he also is the Vice President for the Midwest Street Rod Association East Central Chapter car club. Every year Doug and Abby attend the Heartland Nationals in Des Moines with either his ’40 Ford or her ’72 Camaro. They’ve also driven the ’40 down to Texas for the Lone Star Nationals event, with an emphasis on “driven”.

Doug was one of hundreds of entrants who uploaded a photo of himself having fun with his hot rod in the Cruisin’ to Miami contest. The winning photo is shown below. His photo was one of eight that Goodguys randomly selected to participate in bracket-style fan voting on Facebook. Doug’s photo won during three rounds of daily voting the past few weeks, ultimately receiving the highest number of fan votes.

Congratulations, Doug! We hope you and Abby have fun in Florida!
