Detroit Speed’s new Stainless Steel Fuel Tanks bring modern fuel system capability to select GM and Ford vehicles built for serious street, autocross, and track use. Designed around the performance, packaging, and reliability demands of upgraded muscle car builds, these tanks provide a stronger foundation for consistent fuel delivery while supporting the fitment needs of Detroit Speed Equipped platforms.
Built from 304 stainless steel, each tank is designed for durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term performance. Internal baffling helps control fuel movement during hard acceleration, braking, and cornering, while corner pickup provisions help maintain fuel supply during aggressive driving and low fuel conditions.
Each Tank has been reprofiled to help improve underbody packaging including added clearance for larger exhaust routing where applicable, yet are still made to bolt-in. The Tanks are also designed to accept modern fuel modules to support the fueling needs of both carbureted and EFI combinations. Overall, Detroit Speed’s new Stainless Tanks give builders a cleaner, more flexible fuel system solution in an incredibly great looking assembly.
