Vette Industries introduces complete GM licensed Corvette bodies
Have you ever dreamed of building a ’63 Corvette split window or perhaps a ’67 roadster? Maybe you’re lucky enough to have one, but in need of a couple body repairs or replacement panels? For either scenario, you should be giving the crew at Vette Industries a call to learn more about their all new C2 Corvette bodies.
Vette Industries, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, is now offering complete Corvette bodies including coupes and convertibles from ’63 to ’67! The bodies are available in both woven prepreg fiberglass and prepreg carbon fiber if you’re looking to save some weight or desire the modern carbon look. The company feels that by using the best quality, U.S. made materials equates to stronger, lighter, and more environmentally friendly panels, resulting in the highest quality Corvette bodies available for any type of build.
Fully licensed by GM, Vette Industries’ bodies incorporte all the factory mounting locations for use with an original Corvette chassis or any number of aftermarket chassis options. This means their bodies can be used for an accurate factory restoration, as the starting point of a wild street machine, or a modern pro-touring track-day terror. Speaking of pro-touring, Vette Industries also offers a WideBody C2 option that features an overall extra width of 3-inches to accomodate wider wheel and tire options and more advanced suspension setups if you’re thinking about a serious road racer.
“We use the absolute finest materials and meticulously craft them into premium parts, creating a perfect foundation for any level of Corvette build,” explained Brady Basner, Vette Industries’ Chief Operating Officer. “Prepreg fiberglass is vacuum laid and oven cured to eliminate any air pockets that would otherwise show through a finished paint job in time. Every paint job begins with an absolutely perfect foundation and our Corvette bodies can help jump start that process by offering the best possible product right from the start”.
With over 40 years experience in manufacturing, custom car building, and restorations, Vette Industries has a deep passion for quality and are proud to manufacture all the panels of their Corvette bodies in-house with their very own precision molds and tooling.
