Classic Chevy Trucks Take Over Moab for The 2026 C10 Red Rock Retreat
Year two of the C10 Red Rock Retreat in Moab, Utah, was bigger, bolder, and brighter than ever. Last year, I rolled in with my daily driver, a humble Accord that could have been mistaken for a rental. This year, I was determined to arrive in my OBS and fully experience the show alongside old and new friends of this event.
The weekend kicked off with a new addition: the poker run, sponsored by Stage 8 Locking Fasteners. Drivers collected poker chips at each stop along the route, and the winner was announced during a sunset dinner cruise on the Colorado River—a perfect blend of competition and relaxation.
While I missed the Poker Run, I joined the 2nd Annual Cruise to the Red Cliffs, presented by Slosh Tubs. The 14-mile drive along “River Road” w
inds through towering red sandstone gorges, offering some of the most breathtaking scenery in the United States. At Red Cliffs Lodge, families were treated to dinner and drinks just steps from the Colorado River, with dramatic cliffs and flowing water creating a truly unforgettable backdrop.
Saturday brought the main event: trucks staged early at Swanny Park in downtown Moab. The park, with its green grass, tall trees, and mountain views in every direction, provides a postcard-perfect setting for the show. Chase Clavell and the Utah chapter of the C10 Club executed the event flawlessly, raising an impressive $71,564 for Grand County Search and Rescue.
After awards and a massive raffle, the streets of Moab transformed. Normally dominated by lifted Jeeps and 4x4s, the main drag came alive with slammed Chevys cruising through the town, turning heads and leaving an impression on both locals and visitors alike. Moab is already a destination in its own right, but adding a C10 Only truck show turns it into an experience unlike any other. Year two proved the event’s growing popularity, and if this year was any indication, next promises to be even bigger, and more unforgettable.
