Celebrate Hot Rodding with the Best Hot Rods, Hot Rod Parts and Hot Rod Builders at the Goodguys 1st BASF Legends of Hot Rodding!
If you’re a fan of true hot rods, make plans to be in Nashville this coming weekend (May 15-16) for Goodguys all new BASF Legends of Hot Rodding event! This is an all-new event for Goodguys that will feature ’64 and older cars and trucks in an intimate setting with a focus hot rodding good times with the best cars, builders, and of course, hot rod parts!
The Legends of Hot Rodding takes place at the Fairgrounds Nashville, on the southside of Music City, and there is no better place to check out the state of hot rodding today with the best builders and parts on display. Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop, Roseville Rod and Custom, Dutchboys Hotrods, Johnson’s Hot Rod Shop, Goolsby Customs, are just a few of the builders displaying and if you’re looking for parts, Coker Tires, Scott’s Hotrods N’ Customs, York Speed Shop, Painless Performance, Advanced Plating and more will be on-hand showcasing their parts. The Legends of Hot Rodding is the best chance you’ll have to discuss your project car or truck one-on-one with product specialists to find out what works best for your hot rod. Paint supplies, drivetrain, garage tools, tires, and more will be on display during the weekend.
Goodguys will be selecting their Tanks, Inc. Hot Rod of the Year on Saturday evening. This will be their second Top 12 of the Year Award presented by BASF. All of the contenders for Hot Rod of the Year will take part in a Reliability Run on Thursday, with the top five finalists being named on Friday afternoon followed by the winner announced during the Saturday afternoon Awards Ceremony.
It wouldn’t be a hot rod weekend without music and Goodguys has lined up eight of Nashville’s top upcoming bands keep your toes tapping and hips swinging while you take in the Lokar Gasser Gathering, a special display by the Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed, a Pinstripers Brush Bash, and a members only York Speed Shop Speakeasy presented by Ethos Craft Brewing.
