The Inaugural C10 Red Rock Retreat Delivers Arches, Vistas and Great Memories from Moab
Chevy truck fans were treated to one of the most scenic truck gatherings in the country a couple weeks ago when the inaugural C10 Red Rock Retreat took over Moab, Utah. Nearly 400 trucks rolled into Moab, home of amazing arches and breath taking vistas, to enjoy two days hanging out with fellow C10 enthusiasts and taking in the sights.

The Retreat was put together by Chase Clavell and the Utah chapter of the C10 Club. The Utah Chapter is a non-profit and tries to help out local charities where they can such as their December Toy Drive, a summertime Food Drive, their annual calendar which benefits the American Cancer Society, and most recently, they put together the Red Rock Retreat to benefit the Grand County Search and Rescue Team.
There’s a unique tie to the Search and Rescue Team as Chase had the misfortune of using their services when he took a tumble off a cliff, landing about 80-feet down. As you can imagine, he was in bad shape and he credits the training, passion, and quick reaction of the team for saving his life. This year, he’s proud to state that the Retreat provided a check for $15,002 to the Grand County Search and Rescue.
On Friday, the Slosh Tubz Cruise to the Red Cliffs kicked-off the weekend with a pre-party and cruise up scenic highway 28 to the famous Red Cliffs Lodge. The cruise was lead by the local police so it was nothing but C10s, bumper to bumper winding along the Colorado River – a beautiful sight in itself, but with an even more amazing backdrop.
Saturday morning, everyone gathered at Swammy Park right in Moab for a show. UPcarparts.com headlined the event and there were plenty of other vendors and booths to check out along with great door prizes for participants. The event was laid back, it was fun and it was in a beautiful location – what else can you ask for.
Make plans for next year, May 15 & 16! Get all the details at C10 Red Rock Retreat.
