The vast majority of trucks were fitted with a springy bench seat with no thought of reclining, no cup holders and no armrests. Pretty much all the typical delivery or work truck driver would need for a day on the road handling their work route.
Today, however, truck enthusiasts are personalizing their C10s with performance, style and comfort – including bucket seats and a console. Finding a factory bucket seat frame is already tough not to mention pricey while cutting and welding into the floor to install a set of universal seats is no fun. The new C10 Bucket Seat Frames are available for square ’73 – ’80 models as well as the ’67-’72 trucks. The assemblies were designed and built at Speedway’s Lincoln, Nebraska, headquarters using 1.25-inch mild steel square tubing for superior strength and will work with most any seat designed for C10 trucks.
The bracket assembly is a breeze to install using the existing bench seat holes. If you’re looking to get everything at one time, Speedway offers a popular line of Procar buckets and the specific seat sliders for your C10. The icing on the cake is to install a reproduction of the factory ’69 – ’72 center console or one for ’73-’80 models, both available from Speedway.
