Big Prizes and New Products at the 28th Summit Racing Nationals presented by Grundy Insurance
It’s time for the Big One! We’re talking about the Goodguys 28th Summit Racing Nationals presented by Grundy Insurance, where thousands of hot rodders will gather for a weekend of cool cars, cool people and the best hot rod and restoration parts available! The good times take place July 10-12 at the newly renovated Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
When it comes to checking out the best performance and restoration products for your project, Columbus is the place to be! Top manufacturers roll into the Summit Racing Nationals to showcase their latest components including everything you’d need to build a complete hot rod from the chassis up. You’ll have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with product experts to learn what is best for your specific application, and maybe score a great deal on new parts!
Speaking of new products, this is the only Goodguys event that hosts a New Product Awards area where companies introduce their latest products in hopes of being named Best New Product of the Year. You’ll find the In the Garage Media New Product Award section inside the Bricker Building among manufacturers and Auto Metal Direct’s special Ultimate GM Truck Experience display.
Registered participants will want to make sure to check in at the Choice Product Giveaway booth (also located inside the Bricker Building) to see if their registration number has been drawn for a great prize. The Rodders Reps draw winning numbers at their booth at 10am, noon and 2pm on Friday and Saturday followed by 10am and 1:00pm on Sunday – and these are no ordinary prizes! We’re talking about prizes like a $250 gift card from Summit Racing, Old Air Products, Wilwood, and Painless Wiring just to name a few.
The biggest prize that a lucky participant or member could actually drive home is the Goodguys 2026 Grand Prize Giveaway Car – a 1940 Ford Coupe built by Roseville Rod and Custom. A winner will be chosen during a special awards ceremony Saturday night.
After checking out all the new products and visiting with the vendors, be sure to make your way over to the huge indoor/outdoor swap meet to wade through vintage used parts. You’ll find rows of used parts, automotive collectibles and more hot rodding parts and pieces. There’s also a huge Cars 4-Sale Corral to score a cool cruiser or project to drive (or tow) home.
