Photo Gallery from the Triple Crown of Rodding

A couple weeks ago, Nashville Superspeedway was packed with INDYCAR racers and earlier in the summer NASCAR held a big race. This past weekend however, the infieled was taken over by the biggest names in hot rods for the third Triple Crown of Rodding.

The Triple Crown, the brain child of Bobby Alloway, Gary Case, and several industry veterans, happens once a year with the intent of bringing in the top name builders and manufacturers together for two days of hot rodding fun surrounded by good friends and family. Friday couldn’t have been a nicer day with classic cars and trucks filling the infield and even with some rain on Saturday morning, the cars and crowds continued to roll in to join the fun.

For the awards, a large group of builders and industry professionals help select a Top 30 then narrow that down to an Elite 10, then choose winners for six Best of the Year awards for different categories. The winners for 2025 include: Street Rod; Ross Meyers, ‘36 Ford, Street Machine; Steve Nettleingham, ‘70 Challenger, Street Cruiser; Mark Fuque, ‘60 Caddy, Truck Early; Curt Wittman, ‘55 Cameo, Truck Mid; Frank Walsh, ‘75 Chevy and Truck Late, Brian Wojjcik, ‘95 Chevy.

There are plenty more awards, that come with way cool trophies, that are selected by top names in hot rodding. Goodguys was on hand to select a winner for their Gary Meadors Memorial award which ended up going to Ryan Kalil with his five-window Deuce coupe built by Hot Rods and Hobbies.

There’s more than just awards at the Triple Crown as the show brings out the top manufacturers and builders in the industry to display their wares. If you’re looking for parts and pieces for your project, the TCR is your one-stop shopping weekend. As a special event this year, the show brought in the fun rocking cover band, the Lt. Dan Band, led by Forest Gump co-star Gary Sinise. Gary has been raising funds and awareness to help honor and support veterans, wounded heros and first responders with this Gary Sinise Foundation. The band rocked the infield!

It was two days that went by in a blur of chrome and red-line rpm. With so many top tier builds on pit row and even more filling the spaces around the pits filled with hot rodding companies, it was hard to see it all – but worth trying to take it all in.
